Ganisha's first (non-family) job was at La Boulangerie bakery in Fresno, CA, where she discovered her love for French pastries. After completing her degree in English and Spanish Literature, Ganisha finished master's in education and taught High School English for two years. However, she couldn't stay away from the family business too long, and here she is today, CEO of the company. Her Sethi specialty is bringing people together in a safe and welcoming environment. When she is not working, you can catch Ganisha hiking and hanging in the dirt with her 3-year-old son. Ganisha believes that honesty is the best policy.
Gaurav's first (non-family) job was at the age of 16 at Jacks Car Wash in Fresno, CA, where he learned customer service and networking for the first time. In 2005 while working for extended family in Mississippi, he was exposed to hotel construction and was given the opportunity to develop a gas station in Fresno in 2008. There was no looking back after that, and today Gaurav is Chief Development Officer of Sethi. His Sethi specialty is networking and building long standing relationships. When he's not working, you can catch Gaurav spending time with his wife and three children. Gaurav's favorite quote is, "The house is a rockin' don't bother knockin', come on in!" - Stevie Ray Vaughn
Rhonda began working in hospitality through family businesses and her first hotel job was front desk agent at a Holiday Inn. 27 years later, the passion for the industry is just as strong as it was the second day on the job, when she realized this would be her career. Rhonda joined Sethi in 2022 where she leads the overall operations amongst a seasoned and incredibly talented team. She is always willing to mentor future leaders and inspire more individuals to join the hospitality industry. She believes in doing what's right, even if no one is looking, and even if it gets you into a little good trouble! While a second career as a chef never panned out, Rhonda loves cooking, entertaining, and keeping an active lifestyle.
Courtney fell in love with the hospitality business in 1996, when working at the front desk while attending college. During her career path in operations, sales, and revenue management, she learned all aspects of the hotel business. Courtney joined Sethi in October 2023, with her Sethi specialty being well-rounded in operations with a focus on inspiring and motivating her amazing hotel teams to be the best they can be, both personally and professionally. Courtney is married to her husband James. They have two smart and athletic children, as well as a sweet Golden Retriever fur baby.
Valorie's journey started at an A&W restaurant, where she learned the ropes of teamwork and customer satisfaction. Eventually transitioning into hospitality, she discovered her knack for infusing excitement into driving top-line growth. Joining Sethi in 2008, Val has earned a reputation for her ability to energize and embolden teams. Outside of her professional endeavors, Valorie enjoys cooking, indulging in her favorite TV shows, and cherishing moments with her two daughters and grandson. She firmly believes in the importance of curiosity and a positive attitude to achieve success.
Abby’s first job was as a Cashier at Taco Bell. While attending Fresno State as a Biology major, she had the opportunity to work with Sethi as the Sales Manager at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Fresno, CA which led her to pursue a career in hospitality. Her Sethi specialty is building authentic relationships with partners. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, trying new recipes, and traveling. Abby believes that nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.
When Desiree first entered the work force, she found herself working in customer service and retail. This experience fueled her passion for leadership, leading her to kick off her 10-year career at Rue21. Joining Sethi in early 2023, Desiree's specialty is creating an open and inclusive, guest-centric, environment for both her team and guests at our Palm Beach Tan salons. When Desiree is not working, you can catch her on the sidelines cheering on her son at soccer games, spending time with family, taking spontaneous road trips, and reading. Desiree believes that success is the result of consistent, dedicated effort day in and day out.
Joanne's first job was at twelve years old; working the snack counter at the Foxboro Company cafeteria in Foxboro, MA. Joanne moved to the west coast after graduating from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has been at Sethi since 2011. Her Sethi specialty is working to keep a positive work environment. When she's not working, Joanne enjoys long walks, reading, and spoiling her grandkids. Joanne believes in opening doors for all generations.
Natasha has been working in the hospitality industry since her first job as a Hostess at Trump National Golf Club, LA. She continued working food and beverage positions in hotels/resorts until she completed her Psychology degree and was given the opportunity to be a part of the Human Resources team. She has been at Sethi since 2020, and her Sethi specialty is sharing a caring and kind spirit with all. Aside from work, she enjoys adventuring to new places and eating delicious meals with family and friends. Natasha lives by the Golden Rule of always treating others with the same respect, integrity and empathy you would like to receive.
Doug joined Sethi in 2023 as the company's Corporate Controller. Prior to working at Sethi, he worked in various accounting/finance roles at several different hotels and hotel management companies over the past 20+ years. Doug's Sethi specialty is being a team player and doing what it takes to get the job done. When not at work, you can find Doug hiking the hills of San Diego or walking along its sandy beaches. Doug believes the greatest quality is seeking to serve others.
Before working at Sethi, Irina worked as an accountant where she assisted in the logistics behind shipping pet food containers to large retailers. Irina has been at Sethi since 2019, her Sethi specialty is always being on top of her tasks, and doing what she can to assist her department. Irina received her first credentials in Uzbekistan, where she obtained a master's in food processing engineering, and worked to get a bachelor's in accounting after moving to California. Outside of work, Irina enjoys spending time with her family, her Senegal parrot Kiwi, and cooking. Irina believes in doing what she can to make other people's lives easier.
Azucena's first place of employment was at a plant nursery. Azucena enjoys gardening & stopping to smell the flowers. She often found herself spending all her earnings at her place of employment (whoops). Her journey with Sethi began in March of 2021. Azucena's specialty is her optimism and positivity to any tasks. Outside of work, you can find Azucena chasing her daughter around at a local playground or off on a hike. At her core, Azucena believes to never judge a book by its cover; people are so much more than what just meets the eye.
Mark has been at Sethi since 2021, working as a corporate assistant. Prior to that, he worked at a hotel restaurant in Legoland resort, as a food runner. His Sethi specialty is helping his co-workers' open doors to create an environment of support. Outside of work, Mark enjoys binging TV shows with his girlfriend, spending time with his family, and going to the gym. Mark believes that life is full of opportunities waiting to be seized, always be on the lookout because you never know what you may discover.
